Founded in 1999, Worldwinner is a large skill gaming site offering a wide variety of popular casual games to players worldwide With more than 30 million registered players globally (from over 100 countries worldwide), WorldWinner hosts more than 20 million tournaments every month (an average 650,000 games are played daily on Worldwinner). Players compete against one another in skill game competitions, meaning the outcome is determined by the players' skill as opposed to chance.

Worldwinner allows players to choose from approximately 30 games across several categories, including Arcade, Card, Sports, Strategy and Word, such as Solitaire, Bejeweled 2, SCRABBLE® Cubes, Luxor and Cubis. Worldwinner offers a variety of competitions, with entry fees starting under $1.00. The average entry fee is approximately $1.65. Players can win prizes starting at $1.60 and increasing depending on their entry fee and the number of players in a given tournament. WorldWinner also allows players to practice games for free. These games do not offer cash or prizes.

According to Worlwinner, the outcome of all games on the site is based on the player’s skill: “This is in sharp contrast to lotteries or games typically found in casinos, where every player ultimately faces the same random odds. Even with games in which chance would appear to dictate a role in the outcome of the contest, such as solitaire, WorldWinner has engineered the game so the outcome is based on the player's skill. For example, WorldWinner levels the playing field by providing each player with an equally difficult hand of cards, so it's ultimately how quickly and skillfully each player approaches the game that determines the winner. And while every WorldWinner solitaire hand is potentially solvable if a player plays their cards right, a player ultimately wins a tournament by outscoring their opponent, even if they don't solve the hand.”
